From version 5.5 and future versions there is a possibility to let VetNetManagement control the send out of patient reminders on email and sms. The send out of paper reminders can be controlled by the send-out center but will have to be handled manually due to the need for printing.

First there is some setting that needs to be done:
Frontpage - Settings - Communication - Reminders

If there is checked in the box "Send reminders automatically" then the send-out center will be activated.

Then the dates for the send outs need to be decided. The first reminder will in this example be send 30 days in advance for the eg. vaccination date and the second reminder will be send 15 days in advance. It will be delivered at 8 o'clock.
The last field is for which date the program should automaticaly create an appointment for the patient.

The appointment will be created with the contactreason and the worktype that is set under remindertemplates.

If the clinic choose not to book appointments automaticaly then they can choose "0 days" in the setting.

The send-out center itself is found through:
Reminders - Send-out centre

In the Send-out center it's possible search for timeinterval, for department, for journalnumber and so on.
The center will show 3 sections.:
Sent reminders: Showing the reminderdate, the date for the send out, facts on client/patient and how the reminder was send.
Waiting to be printed: Showing the reminders that needs to be handled manually.
Check in the checknox or click "select all" to get them printed. After printing the lines will be moved to the "sent reminders" section.
Future reminders: Shows the patient that are getting reminders in the future.

It is possible to rightclick on a line to get more info, print or to edit or delete the reminder.
