There are some new features in the Dentaljournal.

It is possible to add more pictures to the dental journal. You can choose to double click on the photo icon, right click or to drag and drop from your computer.

When the photo is added you can right click on it and get a menu of options.

If you press preview or just click on the film, the preview mode will open. Here you can browse through photos if more than one is uploaded.

The rest of the options in the right click photo menu is

Open: The photo opens in an external photoprogram (The same will happen if you double click on the photo)

Replace: If the wrong picture is uploaded you can choose to replace it with another.

Add image: If you want to have more photos attached.

Clear: Removes the photo

A small number will be shown next to the photo if there are more than one picture uploaded through Add image. If you click on the photo you can see the photos presented and you can also right click on the photo to get a menu of options.

The photo that is marked as main film will be the one shown first in the view.

The photos will not be shown in the timeline but it will show under the tab Archive

A new feature is also that there can be a tag added to the Dental photos in the Archive. Go to:

Frontpage - Settings - Global - Dental Journal and name the tag.

The tag will work on any future dental photos that will be uploaded. If there is a tag created the photos will be saved under the tag as default.

The Dental journal under Settings is also a new feature. Here it's possible to customize the dental journal.

1. Show dental films gives the option to take away the photo icons in the Dental journal.

2. Hide mouth Calculus will take away this section in the Dental Journal.

3. Hide Grading will take away this section in the Dental Journal.

It is these two sections in the dental journal. Per default Grading is visible and Calculus is hidden. The new flag enables you to change this.

To customize even more it is possible in the different sections to select skulls, change the names of the different treatments/occlusion/values or to give a shorter name for timeline use etc.. Just click on the line you want to change and select skulltype, change the name or give a shorter name. (If there is written a shorter name in the box Timeline name it will be used pr. default.)
Press Update after any change.

If you want to create a new eg occlusion press Create.

To delete a line highlight it and press Delete on the keyboard.

The Grading templates section also have new features. Own text/template can now be added to the grading scale. Select the scores you want and write in the text field. The text is automatically saved and the text/template will be shown under the overall notes in the Dental Journal.

The view of the dental journal now shows an Examination view and a Treatment view.
This gives the possibility to first do an examination(blue circle) and mark the findings with the treatments in the tooth notes(Blue circle) where as the findings under the (green circle) can be marked under the Treatments(Green circle)

In the example below tooth 104 is a persisting milktooth under the examination and under the treatments it is marked as extracted.
